My Mom and sister were here a few weekends ago and on Saturday morning we headed over to a new park that is near us. It is part of our rec center and it is seriously the most amazing park I have ever been to! It has a TON of playground equipment, a carousel, a skate park, basketball courts, a splash pad where kids can run through the water and a lake where you can rent paddle boats! We all had a ball running around trying out all the new activities at the park!
There was also a dance recital for little kids going on at the outdoor stage that is built there. It was packed and Chase absolutely loved watching them dance - he could have watched them all day! He is such an observer - it is pretty dang cute :) We found out later that our friends little girls were performing in it but we had no idea and didn't see them.
It was a little chilly when we arrived at the park but then the sun made it's way out and it ended up being beautiful by the time we were leaving.
So much to do! They have playground equipment unlike any I have seen anywhere else!
