Grounded!

After 3 years of traveling like a maniac.....I have finally been voluntarily grounded and not living at the airport anymore!  I had asked my boss in March to help me find a position to get me off the road.  While driving to the airport in the beginning of August, on my way to Omaha, he called me with the good news!!!  Yippee!!!!

I LOVE my job and have gotten to see so many amazing places and meet some great people, but my boys need me right now.  Chase started getting so upset when he would see my suitcase come out and I felt like I was missing so many little milestones of Brady's young life. 

It has been so nice to finally relieve Craig of single parent duty as well!  I seriously don't know how he did it for 3 years.  He is such an amazing Dad and at one point someone even termed him "a saint" and I think there is no better way to describe it.  I don't know a lot of guys that could have done this, and he did it with such ease & love.  I always felt so bad for leaving and his response EVERYTIME was, "Don't worry about us - we will be fine.  You are doing this for us - thank YOU."  What a great husband and Daddy!

So, for the last few months I have been working from our house and have an office built into our guest room.  It has been amazing and feels so good to have dinner with my family every night.  I will probably still travel every 6 weeks or so, for a couple days at a time, but at that point the boys will probably want to get rid of me for a few days anyway ;)

So blessed to have a job that allows me to be a successful working Mama!
