If you want to see your child look up to the sky and have their face light up in amazement, take them to an Air Force football game for a pre-game flyover!
This, among a few other reasons, made our whole family decide to take a trip down to Colorado Springs to watch them take on CSU in a football game.
Chase, Carson & Ashlyn had an 8am soccer game so we took off straight from there to make the 1 1/2 hour trek to the Air Force Academy. We made it in just enough time to grab some beers for our walk in, find our seats and the festivities began! They had parachuters land on the field followed by the flyover - very cool! The rest of the game was spent with me chasing Brady around the stadium - at least it's some exercise I guess - lol!
They did have a nice kids area with bounce houses that Brady loved and kept him contained for a little while ;) Chase had a ball at the game even with CSU being defeated yet again - boo...
All the cousins (minus Kyler who was at a baseball game) getting ready to walk to the stadium...
Ready for the flyover!

I walked Brady around the stadium and was trying to get a picture of him in front of this cool glider but he wouldn't take his eyes off of it :)
After the game we headed over to our cousins, Ben & Laura's, house. They live in Colorado Springs and had the whole fam over. There were about 25 of us and we spent the rest of the afternoon /evening at their house watching football, the kids playing and eating a great taco bar dinner!
At one point the kids were playing in the basement and Laura came up and said I had to run down there with my camera.....I went down and they were playing beauty shop - lol! Ashlyn was doing Carson's hair and Chase is curling Morgan's hair - too funny!
