I love love love Easter and we had such a fun, but busy and exhausting, day celebrating!! It was an absolutely gorgeous day (that always seems to happen and it is awesome) so we spent a lot of time outside and enjoying the day with each other.

After opening gifts, we got all dolled up and headed to church. I almost fell over when we walked into church - it was sooo packed! Now that we are regular church goers, it really is quite amusing to see the church blow up on Easter all of a sudden! I mean we are talking folding chairs brought in and they had to use tv monitors in the reception area so everyone could see. Needless to say, arriving 10 minutes before the service started did not grant us very good seats - lol - but it worked out and was fun to see the church bustling and celebrating the true meaning of Easter.
After church we came home and the boys searched for plastic eggs in the backyard and the real eggs were hidden inside.

That afternoon we headed over to Craig's parents for a delicious Easter dinner, cousin Easter egg hunt and lots of outdoor relaxing. (Well relaxing for everyone else without 3 kids under 5 - lol!)
