Last month we decided to spend a Saturday morning visiting the Denver aquarium! We hadn't been in over a year so the boys didn't really remember very much and it was Hadley's 1st trip there! The boys loved running around pointing out the different fish but their favorites parts were the flash food area (that was my favorite too), the sharks and the tigers.....yup we have tigers at our aquarium?! Not sure how that fits in but they love it so it works, haha :)
Oh yea, I changed my mind - seeing one of the workers cleaning the tank may have been their favorite part!
After the aquarium, we walked outside and saw that there was a little train that you could ride right alongside a pretty river that goes through downtown. The kids and I rode the train and wandered around outside before we headed off to find some lunch.
We ended our downtown adventure with lunch (and margaritas for Mommy and Daddy) at The Rio. We were so relieved because it ended up being one of the best eating out experiences we have had with all 3 kids. We seriously avoid eating out at all costs but we were pleasantly surprised and had a great lunch al fresco!
