While I Was Out of Town...

While I was out of town Super Daddy, aka Craig, had a great weekend planned with the boys!  

Friday he took off early and attended Chase's Thanksgiving feast.  Saturday morning they participated in Craig's work's turkey trot!  We went last year and it is a really cool event.  All of the money they raise goes towards an employee, or employees, that have had significant medical bills throughout the year - so awesome of them to do! 

When I got this picture I laughed because Chase looks mad and Craig told me later that he was mad because there were people in front of them at the starting line and he wanted to beat them - haha!  He was the same way last year, getting mad because we weren't in the lead :)  Craig said they ended up doing great and Chase ran over half of the 5K and then rode his scooter the rest of the way while Brady went between riding in the stroller and Craig carrying him.  Afterwards the company provides bagels, juice, muffins, etc!

 

After the turkey trot the boys attended a birthday party and then had Brad and Carson over to watch the CSU football game - busy day!

On Sunday Craig took the boys downtown and they donated the turkey that Chase won at school to the Denver Rescue Mission!  We were going to Craig's parents for Thanksgiving and they had already bought a turkey so what an awesome thing for my boys to do!  So awesome of Craig to think of that :)  The Denver Rescue Mission was trying to collect 15,000 turkeys and Craig said when they delievered theirs they had over 12,000!  Afterwards he took the boys to a special bagel shop downtown! 

Glad the boys got some quality time together while the girls were away :)
