4th of July Week in CA!

We were so excited to head to CA and get to spend a whole week with our family!  Craig and I had been saying for awhile that we wanted to spend a few days in San Diego so we decided to split our trip up and spend the first half of the week in San Diego with Christine, Jim & Ben and then we headed up to my parents for the latter part.

We had an amazing time and, as always, the time went by too fast!!  Here is a look at our trip in photos...

BBQ at the Frisbee's Saturday day/night!  We got a chance to spend the day with Mom & Dad, Ty and his girlfriend Erin, Megan, Cash and their 2 boys & Charlie and Sarah!  What a fun day!

Tuesday we headed to Legoland with just the 4 of us.  I have to say this has been the best place we have ever taken Chase!  It is PERFECT for his age and he had an absolute ball!! 

Pulling into the parking lot he said "Wow, this is going to be really cool."  It was such the perfect start to the day :)  Brady was a trooper but Chase seriously did not slow down, complain, whine or get tired at all for like 7 hours - such a great day!!

We left LegoLand and drove up to Mom & Dad's for the rest of the week.  The next day was 4th of July and we had a pool party full of friends and family.  Uncle Jon, Aunt Kathy and Brad came over from Tucson, Aunt Carol came up from San Diego, Carol Marie, Ellie & Ryan flew in from Indiana and we had many more local friends and family over for a day of fun in the sun and pool!

The next day we played in the pool a bunch more and then Aunt Kathy, Christine & I headed to the Sawdust Festival in Laguna Beach that night.

Mom bought a slide for the boys and it took Dad, Jim & Craig about an hour and a half to blow up - lol!

Totally worth it though!!

The sole purpose of going to Sawdust was so we could get new toe rings!  We all got rings for each foot and then we stumbled across a fake tattoo place and thought we would have some fun :)
