Brooks' Visit!

This past weekend Brooks came to visit us in San Diego and to go to the San Diego State vs CSU football game! Here are a few fun pics from the weekend...

Chase all dressed up to meet Brooks - look at those cute shoes! (Thanks Linds for sending them to us!)

All of us in our CSU gear!

Christine & Jim hung out with us all weekend too! Here's all of us, including Baby Frisbee, relaxing on the deck of the Hotel Del

Happy Boy:)

Sick Little Boy:(

So we officially have gone through Chase's first bad "cold" I guess we will call it. Who knows what was wrong with him but he was sick and it was very scary for Mama and Daddy! Chase started acting funny a few Fridays ago and for the next week turned into a completely different baby. He has been super fussy, refusing to eat, not sleeping at night, etc. We kept thinking he just had a cold and then he did the worst thing, threw up all over me on wed night. It was sooo sad - he just looked at me wondering what the heck was going on. We were about to go to the emergency room but after throwing up he was happy. We put him in the bath and he was full of smiles - I guess I feel better when I throw up too:)

We went to the Dr the next day and they tested him for everything and couldn't find anything wrong so our Dr said it was just a bug. It continued all last weekend while we visited in San Diego. Finally he seems to be getting better! He is eating better, smiling, cooing, and thank god - finally slept through the night last night. That was the first night in a week in a half that we haven't benn woken up every hour!

Poor little Chase - we all made it through though and are getting healthy!

Chase's 1st Party & Lauren's Baby Shower

I never got a chance to update from 2 weekends ago so thought I would catch up on some pictures.
Chase went to his first birthday party! It was one of my coworkers daughter's 2nd birthday in a park in Hollywood so we went to help celebrate. We had a good time meeting some new people, singing Happy Birthday, eating cake and we even saw a movie star! We saw Paul Finch from American Pie running through the park:)
Here's a family picture from the party...

Close-up of Chase & Momma - Big Smiles!

Chase got a chance to spend a little time with Grandpa a few weekends ago too...

I got a chance to go to Lauren's baby shower this same weekend - it was so fun celebrating the arrival of her new little one! She & Matt don't know if they are having a boy or girl and it was fun to have that element of surprise still in the air! Lauren got lots of great gifts and I came out a big winner too - I won a raffle and got a great beach bag full of goodies - yea!!

Time for some cake!

Chase is 5 Months Old!

Chase turned 5 months yesterday! It is amazing how much he has changed and turned into a little man these last 5 months. He smiles all the time (especially when you sing to him), jabbers away, holds everything and puts everything in his mouth, rolls over, laughs once in awhile, can hold his own bottle if he is in the right position, recognizes Craig & I when we get home from work, sleeps all night, and so many other fun things. He is such a sweet baby and our lives have truly been blessed these past 5 months!! WE LOVE YOU PEANUT FACE!!

Here's Chase with his bear at 5 months....

Smiling at Daddy while I tried to take his picture.

This face cracked me up - "Another picture Mom?"

FALL HAS ARRIVED!

Our favorite time of year is here! Today was one of those perfect fall days - sunny with a cold wind. We took advantage and got Chase dressed in his monkey Halloween costume and made a trip to the pumpkin patch. He was a big hit - some random lady even took a few pictures of him for herself:) Here are some of the adorable pictures we got....

This baby just melts my heart! Holidays are definitely more fun with a kid:)

Chase picked out a pumpkin just his size!

4 Years of a Wonderful Marriage!

This past Thursday, October 9th was our 4 year wedding anniversary. In some ways I cannot believe how quickly time has flown by but in other ways I look at pictures from that day and it feel like so long ago. Craig and I have grown so much together over the past 4 years and I feel truly blessed to have such an amazing man that I can call my husband and my best friend. Craig has also been the most amazing Dad I could have ever imagined. Chase just loves him and they have an amazing bond already. I cannot wait to watch them together over the years.

Thank you Craig for making me the happiest girl in the world - I thank God we found each other - you are perfect. Thank you for your love, support, strength, laughter, and friendship. Thank you for making me a Mom - I love my family:)

I LOVE YOU!

Miramar Air Show

This past weekend Chase & I headed down to San Diego because Katie came into town during the Miramar Air Show to visit. Daddy had to work so we had to spend the weekend apart:( We had a fun weekend though with Katie, Aunt Christine, Uncle Jim, Danny, Chris & cute little Micah. Unfortunately we didn't take too many pictures but here are a few we got.

Christine, Chase & I in front of one of the planes on display We didn't make it too long at the air show Sat because it was much louder and Chase was more scared than we anticipated. I messed up and didn't order Chase ear muffs in time to get here. I thought they would sell them at the air show but they didn't - I couldn't believe it! We tried to cut earplugs in half but they were still too big for his ears:) We had a fun night Sat walking around La Jolla and having dinner together. Here's one shot I got of Micah and Chase - he just loved trying to make "Baby Chase" smile!
Sunday we had a yummy breakfast in La Jolla and then we headed home to see Daddy. We sure did miss him!

I Cheered My Hardest Angels.....

but it just wasn't enough:( Chase cooed and kicked his legs for the Angels but unfortunatly it wasn't enough to fend off the Red Sox. Chase looks forward to next year and hopes for either a Rockies or Angels World Series! Anyone but Boston PLEASE!
