7 Months old on Feb 10th!!
The months are flying by faster and faster and I just can't believe what a big girl Hadley is becoming!! She is still a tiny peanut but lights up the room with her happy little self!
Our happy happy girl!
Weight: Not sure but probably 14 lbs and something ounces
Clothes: Some 3 month onesies still fit but 6 month ones do as well. She is in 6 month pants and 6 month jammies. She is light but she is long!
She rocked her first bathing suit this month - what a studette!
One of her favorite toys is water bottles! I remember this about all 3 kids..wonder what it is?!
She is offically sittting up with no assisted help! She doesn't think it's that exciting and likes to explore so she usually dives forward and starts crawling off but she can do it :)
We started on baby food....it is going ok...
We started with rice cereal, which she loves, so weird because the boys didn't really care for it. Then I made some homemade sweet potatoes and froze a bunch of individual cubes and started adding it in to the rice cereal but she gagged like crazy at first. I used more rice and less sweet potato and then she would eat it. I keep trying to up the amount of sweet potato but if I do too much she still gags and freaks out. I remember the boys eating it straight up with no problem. I moved on to her second food the other day...avocados. I opened a fresh avocado, mushed it up smooth and she took a bite and it was hilarious and sooo sad at the same time. She made the craziest faces and then gagged and it was like she was convulsing - yikes... she was definitely not a fan. So we went back to rice and sweet potato. I really don't want to go to fruit because I know it is hard to get kiddos to eat veggies once you do that but we will see...work in progress :)
Every one of our kids has been different so we will figure it out!
Licking her plate clean - lol!

Hadley,
You continue to make us smile everyday with your sweet demeanor and your amazing open mouth smile! You are ON THE GO and never sit still, you are so intrigued by everything and you crawl so fast now that if I take my eyes off of you for 2 seconds you are gone and across the room! You still think your brothers are hilarious and one of the things that makes you belly laugh the hardest is when anyone is playing catch. It can be a football, a baseball, a toy (or anything) but if 2 people throw it back and forth you die laughing. You are going to be a tom boy for sure :) You still don't sleep very well but we continue to try new things and are trying to figure out what will work for you and for us. You have started to develop some separation anxiety with me and if I leave the room or walk away you freak out a little bit. I have to admit it makes me sad yet makes me feel wanted so it is a bittersweet feeling. We love you to pieces and are amazed at how quickly you are changing everyday. I really cannot imagine our family without you and you have brought so much more joy to our lives!
Love,
Mommy
