Brady's birth was actually very calm (still nervewracking) but a total polar opposite of the choas of Chase's birth. I walked myself right on into the operating room, got a spinal tap, layed down and about 20 minutes later we were saying hello to out beautiful new son!!
I know everyone says time flies but I am here to tell you that it goes even FASTER with the second one!!! I don't know where this year went - I cannot believe I am looking in the face of a 1 year old today! What happened to my little itty baby... well... he has become a little boy!
Brady, you have been an absolute joy to watch grow and learn and explore this last year. You are such a fun loving, happy and enthusiatic little man and it is very obvious that you already have a very independent and persistent personality! You make us laugh on a daily basis and cannot imagine our lives without you.
Some fun info on Brady as a 1 year old:
* Started walking at 10 months old so he is a total expert now and he's FAST (no drunk walking for this kid)
* He is great going up stairs but isn't anywhere near understanding how to get down yet
* EVERYTHING goes in the mouth (I forgot about that stage - ugh!)
* Still drinks formula from a bottle - waiting for his 1 year appt this Monday to see if we change to whole milk
* He is an EATER!!! He loves yogurt, pancakes, mac and cheese, chicken, cheese, crackers, goldfish, peanut butter, and veggies (but only at his babysitters house..he won't eat them for us - lol)
* Loves the dishwasher and the fridge - if either one gets opened he is literally there in 5 seconds or less trying to climb in and get something
* Sleeps wonderfully at night...he goes to sleep on average about 7pm and wakes up at 6:30am
* Opposite of at night, he takes very short naps - he definitely does not need a lot of sleeo throughout the day
*He is always looking for ways to get in trouble...he smiles as he is doing things he knows are wrong - God help us!
* Totally obsessed with cell phones, remotes, computers and our drinks
* Knows how to throw a good temper tantrum already
* He's a tough little dude... he has gotten pushed around by Chase from the day we brought him home and we are just waiting for the day when he lays Chase out - lol
