Last week, I took the boys to the dentist. It was Brady's 1st dentist appointment and Chase's 2nd time! Chase was super excited to go to the dentist, which I think is a little odd since last time we went he had to have a cavity filled - lol. I was worried he would be traumatized but he still loves his dentist :)
Brady climbed in the chair and was fascinated by everything, at first... The hygentist did a great job working with him and he was definitely cooperating in the beginning.
"Brady doesn't his toothbrush tickle? Try it on your hand."
Brady is like, ok I think that's enough...
"Try it in your mouth Brady!"
And that is pretty much where it ended..lol. He wouldn't let her actually brush his teeth but they weren't really concerned about it. At his age they really just want to see if his teeth are growing right, all coming in and if there are any cavities. So when the dentist actually came over it was sad because I had to hold Brady in my lap and bend him back so his head was in the dentists lap. He was kicking and screaming but Dr. Jill did awesome getting in really quickly and having it be over in about 45 seconds. Poor Brady, not sure he will be too excited to go back to the dentist in 6 months - lol!
Meanwhile, Chase is my child who does awesome at doctors and dentists because he is such a people pleaser. He was so proud of how big he was :)
Brady checking Chase out...
And the verdict?
No Cavities!!! Yay!
Our only main issue was Dr. Jill said Brady has to get rid of the paci asap! She told us to get rid of it that night if possible - yikes! Brady's teeth are moving and she doesn't want us to end up with major orthodontal work because of it. So did we do it? Paci post to come..... :)
A few days later we received this in the mail, talk about great customer service:
