We had a busy and fun weekend in our house!
Friday we hung out at home building towers, knocking them down, playing games and riding Daddy as a horsey - lol :)
Early Saturday morning we headed to Craig's work for the Ball Aerospace 30th anniversary Turkey Trot 5k! We decided to go for it with the boys and I am so glad we did!! This race raises money for employees that need help with medical bills and there were over 400 people who donated and about 200 who ran/walked!
Checking in...
Outside ready for the race to start - thank goodness for nice weather!
Hmmm...wonder where Brady learns everything from?! :)
Off we go! I was SOOOO impressed with Chase! He took off and was getting upset if anyone was passing us - lol! He was kicking my butt, that's for sure. He ran about the first mile and a half (that is a lot for little legs!) and then the second mile and a half we pulled out his razor scooter from under the stroller and he rode it next to us. Everyone was jealous of his scooter - haha!
We finished!! Afterwards Craig's work had juice, muffins, bagels and fruit to snack on. Then the gave away raffle prizes and awarded the race winners turkeys!
After the race we headed home for a nap for Brady and relaxation time for the rest of us. After Brady woke up we headed to the MBS Crossfit competition to watch Adam compete!!! I didn't get any photos of him but I got one of the world's strongest toddler outside playing on some of the equipment...
After watching Adam we went to Craig's parents house to see some of his Aunt's and Uncle's who were in town from Texas. They came in town for one of their granddaughters basketball games against Metro State. We all headed to the game together and Chase got to hang out with all his cousins! They had a ball playing in the stands, running under the bleachers and eating popcorn from the snack bar.
Sunday we had our neighbor, Zoey's 3rd birthday party and then we came home to decorate for Christmas!! I didn't want to do it this early at first, but since we will be gone for Thanksgiving and every weekend in Dec is already slammed, this was really the only time to do it! I will say the house feels amazing all decorated and festive - I love it!!! We still have the outside lights to do and the ornaments to hang on the tree so we have a few things left to do after Thanksgiving.
More pics to come of our Christmas decorations!
We are off to Orange County tomorrow and can't wait!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
