Texas Family Reunion

We spent the 4th of July weekend in Nazareth, Texas, population 311, for a reunion with Craig's Mom's side of the family. The reunion was Carol's 6 siblings and their families totaling almost 200 people!! Can you believe that 200 people now exist and are part of one family due to Craig's grandparents - it sort of blows my mind when I think about it!

Meeting up with a few Aunt's & Uncles at a fish fry restaurant after our long 8 hour drive to Nazareth...

Chase & Carson being silly

Mary Lou taking Brady for a spin on their golf cart... Chase was obsessed with this and had to ride it about 10 times a day :)

Austin, Drew, Carson & Chase LOVED playing with all the tractors!!!

Riding ATV's and a gas powered golf cart around Floyd & Dorothy's house

Brady & Dorothy

All the kids playing with the horses at Gilbert & Dolly's house

After playing with the horses and having lunch we went back and took some naps and then headed over to Greg & Cynthia's house to go swimming and hang out in their "Party Barn"!

Carson & Chase playing with a centipede pool toy

A couple shots of the "party barn"...doesn't do it justice of how amazing it is!

Sunday was the actual family reunion and it was such a great day! We headed to church in the morning and then spent the rest of the day at the house where Carol grew up in (our cousin lives in it now and has redone it.) We had a BBQ lunch, every family introduced themselves, played Minute to Win It, drank, played volleyball, went swimming, played basketball, rode dirt bikes, got hosed down by a fire truck, did a balloon toss and had many many laughs and fun times!

All of Carol's siblings and their spouses telling some of their favorite memories :)

Doesn't everyone have a fire truck at their family reunion?! :) Craig's cousin, Marlin, bought this fire truck and drove it over to the reunion and kept filling it up and soaking all of us. It was a little crazy but fun!

Chase found the water balloons....and a blue sucker - ha ha!

Water balloon toss and a cooler full of water on Rosie for her birthday!

Good old Texas family summer fun...

I love these pictures that Craig took of Chase, Carson & Ashlyn playing together

Calling it a night as it started to sprinkle after a fun but LONG day in the sun
