4th of July!

On the actual 4th of July we drove back home from Texas and made it home about 3:30pm. The boys slept that last 4 hours of the drive so we hauled butt to make the use of the quiet time! Once we got back we took showers, unpacked, BBQ'd some dinner and Chase played with some mini poppers that Craig bought for him. Chase loved playing with them!




That night we headed to the community center by us for a fabulous fireworks show! There were tons of people there so we layed our blanket out, went and got some fair food (aka funnel cake and snowcones) and waited for the fireworks show to start.









They put on an amazing show set to music and we all layed on our blanket watching the colors burst in the sky above us. I don't think I have ever seen fireworks that close. Chase loved it but I must say I think I may have enjoyed it the most - what can I say - I am a major sucker for fireworks set to music :)
