Grandma & Grandpa T flew in last Thursday and we headed straight to Chase's daycare. Craig met us there and when we walked into his classroom we were all laughing because all the kids were running around playing and Chase was still curled up in a ball in the corner of the room sleeping! I have always wondered what it looks like when he sleeps at school so it was fun to see :0) We woke him up and watched the kids play a little before they all sat down at the tables to sing Happy Birthday to Chase and eat mini-cupcakes. Chase was totally out of it since he just woke up so he wasn't really into blowing out the candle or wearing his birthday hat but you will see in the next few posts that he ended up falling in love with that hat!
After Chase's class party we headed home to play together in the backyard and enjoyed the sunshine! Grandma & Grandpa bought Chase a sandbox for his birthday so we put it together and played trucks in the sand!

And, of course, Chase's love affair with his birthday hat from school started by that night :)
