Chase's "Two Two Train" Birthday Party!

We planned Chase's party for a few Saturday's ago at the park next to our house. We thought it would be fun to have it outside and have activities for the kids as well as have the playground and lots of grass area and the lake to play around. Well - we woke up to 40 MPH winds on Sat morning so we were worried a party at the park might be a little tough! By 1pm Craig and I went down to the park and tried to put tablecloths on the tables. After 20 minutes of wind-crazed insanity of pinning the tablecloths down we decided a party there was just not going to work. So 1 hour before the party we called an audible and decided to have the party at our house. It ended up working out perfect because everyone could still hang out outside but could escape the wind inside (plus we didn't have plates, cups, cupcakes and children flying away in the wind!) Chase had so much fun at his party - thanks to everyone who helped us celebrate!!

Chase's Actual Birthday at the Denver Children's Museum

For Chase's actual birthday last Friday my parents and I took Chase to the Denver Children's Museum! We have meant to go there for awhile but had never made it so this seemed like the perfect opportunity - and boy am I glad we went! We had soo much fun at the museum!
