Tonight I made a quick Valentine's photo montage for my baby boy love. Sometimes life is just sweeter when it is set to music :) Enjoy!

Big Boy Shoes

First I have to explain that Chase is OBSESSED with shoes... doesn't matter if they are his or yours... if they are on the ground in his sight he has to pick them up and give them to you! He knows who's are who's and he can't stand when they are left around - it is hilarious:) "Shoes" was one of his first words and he loves to say it and wants to always put his shoes on.

Now that you know a bit of the back story... here is a funny shot I got of Chase taking Daddy's shoes for a spin in our bathroom the other morning....


An even funnier sight is when he puts my high heels on for a spin! Of course I can never grab my camera in time - but I will keep trying!

Belated New Years!

I know this is way behind but since this blog is basically a scrapbook of our lives I have to get caught up :) We had a great New Year's ringing in 2010 with all the siblings in downtown Denver. Craig's parents were nice enough to babysit so we could have a nice dinner and hit up some bars downtown. We don't get many chances to hang out without any kids around so it was a nice change to just goof around with the adults (well we acted a little bit like kids but you know what I mean) :)

Thank God I signed up for points on Southwest, United, Hilton & Marriott - hopefully all of this will pay off with a nice FREE vacation for me and my boys!!!

Winter Fun with Grandma & Grandpa!

My Mom & Dad stayed in Colorado for 4 days after Christmas and we had a ton of fun enjoying the Colorado winter weather! We spent a lot of quality time with Chase and spent every night playing cards and drinking wine - definitely a great vacation!

The day after Christmas we were all pretty tired from the festivities so we relaxed and enjoyed the snow falling outside then decided to venture out and go sledding at a great hill in our neighborhood...

A few days after Christmas we headed up to Estes Park to enjoy the mountains and the beautiful scenery!

We went to see the Stanley Hotel while we were in Estes Park - remember The Shining? It was filmed there! Anyway it is such a gorgeous old hotel and fun to explore and think about how many people have been through the doors of this place!

Christmas 2009!!

We had a wonderful white Christmas in our very own home this year!! We got up early and got started on cooking some food for brunch and waited for Chase to get up. I didn't know how he would react this year but his expression and reaction absolutely blew me away - he was sooo excited to see all his new toys and didn't quite know what to play with first - he ran around and went from one thing to another! We opened gifts and then got ready to have Brad, Melissa, Ty, Marvin, Carol, Austin, Drew & Carson over (and of course my Mom & Dad as well) for a big yummy brunch. We made homemade cinnamon rolls, my first attempt at quiche, turkey and pork sausage, homemade scones, hashbrown casserole and fruit salad (plus mimosas and bloody mary's) - it was so good! The rest of the day we played cards with the fam and then we headed over to Brad and Melissa'a for a beautiful and delicious Christmas dinner! It was such a great day and filled with lots of family, fun and laughs!

The train looked like this for about 3 hours and then Chase threw every piece on the floor.. hmm - well the box did say for ages 3 & up! JK - he has absolutely loved it since. We have it up in his play room now and he always wants you to go with him and he will pat the seat next to him for you to sit and build the track and the "town" with him - he loves it!
