What Really Matters......

Is this.....

As we all know life has not been easy for anyone lately. The economy, job uncertainty and daily stresses have heightened everyday for all around us and it can start to take a toll on you. Since my job deals with small business owners I see everyday how hard some people have been hit and seen how their businesses and lives have started to fall apart. It is through these tough times that I have learned you really do get stronger and you figure out what is important in life. No matter how crazy life can get it is the people that surround you that really matter. This week has been more challenging than usual and I have found myself thanking God every night for giving me an amazing husband and son to come home to everyday. I feel so lucky to have them and am so in love. Nothing else matters when you walk through the door and see that 2-toothed baby smiling at you and an amazing husband who gives you a kiss - troubles melt away:) Happiness in life is having great family and friends and we have both!

Ok enough about that.. on to a Chase update:) After some food boycotting Chase is finally doing better with solid foods!! Yay! He still fights us a little but much better than he was doing a month ago. He likes blueberries the best but is also eating bananas, pears, prunes (yuck I know but he is constipated so needs the help), carrots and he loves his puffs still! He is learning to drink water out of his sippy cup and still loving his milk.. 3/4 of his bottle are still breast milk and 1/4 are formula. He is so strong and stands all the time holding on to objects and is getting better and better at walking between Craig and I! He is finally rolling all around from tummy to back and flys all over the room:)

Here are a few cute moments we have had this past week with our Chase monkey...

His "fort" we build so he can play by himself on the ground

Chase & Daddy before work yesterday morning

Craig always says the pictures are always of him and Chase so he has been on a mission to get a picture of me... here is my monkey and I cuddling and rocking back to sleep last night after a night feeding:)

On a final note we are waiting anxiously for our little nephew to arrive! Christine's due date was yesterday but Ben is taking his time:) We are excited to meet him!
