Thursday Grandma and Papa got to baby-sit Chase all day while Craig & I had to work. That night we had a Mexican fiesta and then they all went to Craig's baseball game while Chase and I stayed home and rested.
Friday Craig took off work and they went to Manhattan Beach to enjoy the amazing 85-90 degree weather. Who said it was November? :)
That night we took a nice walk down to our neighborhood Italian restaurant and had some good food & wine.
Saturday we took a long walk around the neighborhood and got some amazing views - it was one of the clearest days we have ever had! Then as we were walking we saw the fires from the Valley starting in the distance.
We came home and got ready for the CSU football game! Of course we had to continue the tradition of GoldSchlager shots before and game and IT WORKED - WE WON!!!!
That evening we drove to Manhattan beach to have a little sunset picnic of wine and cheese. We saw an amazing sunset that night - unfortunately it was because of all the smoke in the air - but nonetheless it was gorgeous.
That night my parents came back into town from Hawaii and since they left their car at our house we got a chance to all hang out a little bit. We haven't all been together in probably 3 years. This was the first time Chase got to have all his grandparents together!!
Sunday we were planning on hiking to the Hollywood sign but the air quality was too bad for our lungs - especially little Chase! So instead we went to church, checked out LMU, played lots of cards, made a great BBQ dinner and got to spend lots of quality time together - the most important part!
Chase even got to open an early Christmas gift from Grandma & Papa!
What a great time we had - thank you Grandma and Papa for making the trip - WE LOVE YOU!!!!
