Monkey Bizness

Our babysitter, Michelle, took Brady and her daughter to our local Monkey Bizness for the 1st time on Halloween! We LOVE Monkey Bizness and it was literally a lifesaver when I was on maternity in the dead of winter with both kids at the beginning of this year. Brady has been many times but always in his stroller or strapped to my chest in his carrier. This was the first time he got out and went crazy in the baby area! Looks like he had a blast :)

A few weeks later Craig and I decided to take the boys to Monkey Bizness on a cold Sunday morning. They both had a blast. My camera died after 3 pictures but at least I got a few smiles :)

Happy...

He is seriously just the happiest kid.....

Burgers & Costco

A couple Fridays ago we didn't have any plans so we decided to take the boys to a fun diner near us called Gunther Toody's. I had never been there but growing up in CA I would say it is most similar to a Ruby's. The waitresses all dress in old diner gear with big red lips and you order burgers, fries & milkshakes - not so healthy but delicious :) I had a turkey burger and was shocked that it was literally the best turkey burger I've ever had in my life! Craig was dying - he just thought that was too funny. Craig and I split an oreo shake and Chase helped us finish it off :)

After filling out bellies with grease and ice cream we headed off for a Costco run! It was so cute to see both my boys sitting side by side in the cart for the first time. We filled up with lots of essentials along with a spur of the moment Christmas tree purchase - lol (If you look real close you can see Craig is pushing it in front of the boys). Our tree last year was borrowed from my sister and brother in law and it had a ton of lights burned out so we had to string a bunch of extra strands through it. I am very excited to pop up our new 9 ft prelit Christmas tree next weekend!!

Fun family Friday night in the burbs :)

Family Night In!

This past weekend Craig & I decided to invite some of our friends with kids over for a Family Night In! We made boboli pizzas, drank some cocktails (mocktails for the couple pregos!) and had fun hanging out while the kids played. I was SOOO impressed with how well all the kids did together - we had 8 kids and I seriously think this is the best I have ever seen them all do together. We had such a fun night and look forward to doing it again soon :)

And all the Momma's...

There's Daniel... :)

Definitely thankful to have so many great friends in our lives! May not be a keg party in a garage but we still know how to have fun :)

Trick-Or-Treat!!

A few pre-trick or treating pictures!

Chase was sooo over me taking his picture but I still managed to get a few cute ones :)

We met up with a big group of friends to trick-or-treat with through the neighborhood! It was so fun to see our neighborhood so alive and full of kids and families running around everywhere!

Brady with Zoey...this is the daughter of Michelle, who watches Brady everyday, so Brady & Zoey are good buds :)

Zoey the Lion!! She was so funny - holding her mane back the whole time...

A little dark but I tried to get some pics of the kids walking from house to house...

Craig took Brady home after about an hour and stayed home to pass out candy. Chase and I stayed out until about 8:30...he had such a ball and didn't want it to end! It's amazing how much more fun it gets every year as he gets older and more into the holidays!

Pre- Halloween Festivities!

With Halloween being on a Monday this year..the whole holiday felt really long with all the celebrating all weekend long!! Friday afternoon Chase had his Halloween party at school. The party was from 4-5pm and Craig, Brady & I arrived to celebrate with Chase. They decorated cookies, did some Halloween art and had fun showing off their costumes!

A few of the Mom's in Chase's class had babies at the same time I had Brady so we have a cute little group of younger siblings... here is Jon, Zachary & Brady in their Halloween costumes :)

Saturday morning we made a yummy Halloween breakfast complete with waffles, sausage, strawberries, "Halloween juice" (orange juice and apple juice) for Chase & mimosas for Mommy & Daddy. Chase's waffles had chocolate chips, Halloween sprinkles and a few candy corns on top... which he ate before I could even get a pic - lol! VERY healthy breakfast :0)

Brady's Halloween gift from Grandma & Papa T :)

I only got one picture of pumpkin carving this year ... One of our pumpkins got ruined from the cold and our 3rd pumpkin was just a baby one so we just carved one pumpkin. It was fun though and Chase told us exactly what to cut for the face. He wanted triangles for the eyes and nose and a big smile :)

Jess & Stu say "I DO!"

The main reason for our trip to CA a few weekends ago was to celebrate the amazing wedding of one of my best friends from high school, Jessica and the man of her dreams, Stu!!

Craig and I had to take seperate flights since he couldn't get a lot of time off of work so I started the adventure to CA alone with both boys! They did good, the only part that was hard was when our stuff was spread out everywhere at the gate and Chase decided he had to go potty. Since there is no one to stay and watch the stuff, I had to pack everything back up just so he could go. Besides that, the trip was pretty good!

We got in Thursday and hung out with Grandma & Papa and got the boys some haircuts as mentioned in the previous post. That night Craig flew in and Christine, Jim & Ben made their way up from San Diego! Chase had been asking where Ben was for about 5 hours so he was so excited when he finally arrived :)

Friday morning I left everyone behind and headed to Dana Point to meet up with Jess and the rest of the girls to head to her reception site to help decorate for the big night. When she asked us to help decorate I don't think any of us realized how huge of a transformation we were going to be making to the restaurant. Jess and her Mom did such an amazing job making and buying decorations to transform the venue into a moroccan getaway!!!

Here are some pics of us getting set up for the day...

Look at this place!! Amazing!

Back at the hotel we had fun getting ready together and having an afternoon of reminicing and catching up!

Stunning!

Silly mustache pictures

The next day Jess & Stu hosted a BBQ at the beach for all the families so it was our chance to see everyone's kiddos! I finally got to meet Ciaran, everyone got to meet Brady and it was crazy to see how much Reese had grown! I didn't take any pictures but I grabbed a few that Chandra had taken...

The rest of the day we spent hanging out at home with Mom, Dad, Christine, Jim & Ben. Christine gave the boys some suckers they got at Disneyland a few weeks earlier. Chase & Ben definitely enjoyed those!

Ben & Brady playing

Sunday the boys put on their Halloween costumes and we headed to the pumpkin patch for a day of fall fun! Everyone had a blast on the rides and playing games!

Showing us their matching prizes!

Sunday night we headed down to San Diego to have dinner at Christine & Jim's new house! It was so great to finally see it in person. It is a beautiful home and so fun to see them in a place of their own!!

Monday I headed home with both boys in tow and they did awesome on the flight :) Another successful trip to CA - we'll be back for Christmas!
