Lovin' His Daddy

On May 21, 2008 Chase was given one of the best gifts in the world - Craig as his Daddy! Although I know he loves and adores Craig now, I look forward to many years of watching these boys grow up together and share a life full of memories. For Father's Day this year all Craig wanted was to go to the Rockies game Sat night with Chase & I. We headed downtown for an early dinner on a rooftop deck with a gorgeous view of the stadium then headed in early so we could see some batting practice. Chase was fascinated by batting practice :)

We had a great time watching the game, playing at the kids playground, eating ice cream and cheering the Rockies to victory in the final inning!!

Craig - you are an even more amazing father than I could have ever imagined. Thank you for loving us with all your heart and for being such a great example for Chase - I hope he turns out exactly like you!

Chase with his mit - hoping to catch a ball :)

Family shot during batting practice

Is there anything cuter than a kid in a baseball hat? Chase got this new hat at the ballpark and kept it on the whole game!

Loving watching the game from Daddy's shoulders

Cheering as we got a game-winning run!!!

What a smile!

A special Father's Day wish for my Dad as well. Sorry we couldn't be with you to celebrate but we love you so much and feel blessed to have such a wonderful Dad and Grandpa for Chase & Ben! Thanks for all your love & support through the years.

Lastly - Happy Father's Day to Craig's Dad. These pictures sum him up perfectly - openly gifts while surrounded (and might we say attacked - ha ha) by all 7 of his Grandkids! You are such a great Dad and all these kids just adore their Papa!

We have entered the 30's!

The time is upon us... our friends (and us) are starting to turn 30 - thank goodness I'm one of the last and still 28 - ha ha JK :)

Last weekend the 30's was started off with a bang as we celebrated Aimee's big day! We had a great time hanging out at her and Andy's house - playing baseball, eating cake and hanging out with good friends. It was a random cold and rainy weekend - but that didn't stop us from playing outside! (Chase demanded to go outside so Craig went out to play baseball with him - next thing we know there is a whole game going with all the boys - too cute!)

Happy Birthday Aimee!!!! 30 is gonna be a great one!

Rockies Suite Night!

Last week I got to attend a training conference in Denver and one of the nights was a Rockies night! Yellow Book does it in style and rented out an awesome suite for us to watch the game from. I have never been in a suite here (actually I don't think at any sports game) and it was such a fun experience. Great view, good food, free drinks and fun friends to hang out with! Now if only the Rockies would have won - but what's new? :)

Joe & Melissa's Wedding

Congrats to the new Mr and Mrs TeBockhorst! It was a gorgeous wedding and you are such a wonderful couple :)

Chase was more excited to hang out on a golf cart than watch the wedding :)

Fun at the reception!

Cake Time - his FAVORITE part of the night!

Frisbee's Visit Denver!!

So as much as I LOVE blogging it can be very overwhelming after you've had a great week full of fun and memories! The overwhelming part comes from the 300 pictures that Christine and I have between us - ha ha!

I am going to have to copy her blogging style on this one and let the pictures tell the story of the AMAZING week we had with Christine, Jim & Ben visiting us. We had so much fun and miss them already!!

Chase was posing for some reason (crossing his little hands and everything) - it was really funny :0)

It was a love/hate relationship! They would fight (hence poor Ben's little tears) then there were lots of kisses and "Sorry's"

Grandma sent the boys matching PJ's while they were here

Time to clean - for some reason both boys were born with a love for vaccuums!

Visiting Boulder

Ralphie - Craig wasn't too happy to see his son associating with Ralphie :)

Swimmer diapers as hats was a BIG hit!
