I don't want to ever take for granted the joy he has brought into our lives or ever forget the relief I felt the day he was born to find out he was healthy and all ours. When you are pregnant you worry everyday about your baby being healthy, having 10 fingers and toes, and being able to take breaths on their own.
Because of this I got incredibly excited to participate in March for Babies this year after I saw that my sister was doing it in San Diego. There is nothing I could be more passionate about and get behind more than children. It was an emotional walk and my heart goes out to all my friends, family and complete strangers I saw that have had any complications, difficulties or heartbreak surrounding their own children.
When Craig and I decided to participate in March for Babies in downtown Denver we were excited when we had a group of family & friends that wanted to join in with us. Our team raised over $600 - so awesome! Unfortunately the day of the walk we had terrible weather so a lot of people had to stay home to keep the kiddos warm but we still had a great day walking and the Denver walk alone raised $1 Million!!!!
I look forward to doing this again next year - hopefully with a little more sunshine this time :)
