Mom & Dad's Surprise 40th Anniversary Party!

40 Years! Wow - this upcoming October Mom & Dad will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary! Christine, Jim, Craig and I couldn't let this amazing milestone go by without some well deserved celebrating and love. For months we have been planning a surprise party for them and we finally got to celebrate a few weekends ago. It was such a fun party and we definitely surprised Mom & Dad!

Craig, Chase & I flew in to CA Sat morning and Christine & Jim got Mom and Dad out of the house for the afternoon. We decorated and got ready and all the guests arrived an hour before they got home. We had such an amazing turnout and had people travel from Indiana, Arizona, San Diego, Hemet, Yosemite and locally as well! Some of these guests were even at the wedding 40 years ago!

It was a great party and we are so incredibly lucky to have such amazing parents to celebrate.

Mom & Dad - You are a true inspiration on how a relationship should be and I know Christine & I have chosen husbands to have the kind of lasting marriage and love that you have shown us our whole lives. We couldn't ask for more than the love, support, strength, advice and laughs you have given us through the years. It has been fun to watch you become Grandparents the last year and a half and we look forward to celebrating many more years of anniversaries with you!
