Summer Fun!

We had a fun summer weekend down at Mom & Dad's with Christine, Jim & Ben. We spent Friday night having dinner together and watching the boys play together. They are both getting so big!

Saturday we spent the day at the Irvine lagoon with Devin, Steve & Jack. We had such a fun time - it is absolutely perfect for the little guys. It is pool water but has a little beach area with sand in the shallow area. So much better than the beach because there are no waves to take the little guys out plus it was much warmer:) Chase loved playing in the sand - and eating it!

Sunday was more fun pool time at Grandma & Grandpa's!! But first Grandpa spent some time entertaining the boys...

Little Bruiser

Poor Chase took a spill last week at the park - he slipped on some sand that was on the concrete and went face first to the ground. It didn't look too bad at first but the bruise on his head kept getting bigger and he had some scratches on his nose....it's gone now but he looked so sad for a few days. Guess I better get used to it - boys will be boys :)


Not sure what Craig is doing but this shows the bruise pretty good...

Sarah & Charlie's Wedding!

Saturday the new Mr. & Mrs. Pernicka threw an amazing wedding down in San Diego!! We had been looking forward to this wedding for awhile. Grandma & Grandpa babysat while Christine, Jim, Craig & I got a hotel and had a night out :0) The wedding was absolutely perfect and everything was just gorgeous!

Weekend Picnics

We love going to Manhattan beach on the weekends to catch the sunset and have a little family picnic. It's getting tougher and tougher as Chase gets older - we have to take turns eating while the other one chases him around :) Our latest picnic was very high class - red wine, a beautiful sunset and In N Out.. ha ha - it was awesome!!

Child Genious

Every parent thinks their child is a genious right?! We are no exception :) Chase has really become interested in trying to figure out how everything works. He has discovered what a circle is... we'll get to the rest of the shapes later.. ha ha.

So this is what I get to look back at in the car on the way to drop Chase off at his baby-sitter.. can you see why it is sooo hard to be a working Mom?! I absolutely love our baby-sitter but man oh man it is hard to leave this little guy.

Happy 4th of July

4th of July is one of the best holidays of the year - no stress - just relaxing, sunshine, beer & good food :0) We had a great 4th of July this year spending lots of time at my parents hanging out by the pool in the sunshine! Chase has become quite a water baby and loved playing in the pool and spending time outside.
