Every summer we spend a weekend in the mountains just enjoying our party of 5. Last summer we decided to go to Steamboat Springs. We had a blast hanging out at the pool, visiting the hot spring water park and having picnic dinners by the river!

Brady was too young for the obstacle course so we bought him a noodle and all was right with the world
Both nights we got pizza from this killer restaurant and had a picnic on the grass by the river (well the first night we ate at the restaurant and then played in the grass and decided the next night a picnic would be brilliant). It was definitely my favorite part of the whole trip! There was a huge grass area with cornhole, a band and kids playing baseball that Chase joined in with. The kids loved taking off their shoes and playing in the river right alongside the grass area as well.
