Brady's 1st Haircut

While we were in CA last week I decided to take Brady for his 1st haircut!! Mom & Dad came with me to help since Craig's flight hadn't arrived yet. He did an awesome job and was super cooperative :)

9 Month Update

9 months.... I know I keep saying this but really?! How did that happen!! I can't believe in a few short months my baby will be 1!

Brady had his 9 month checkup last week and here are his latest stats:
(I lost the paper again so need to call and fill this in - lol )

As a 9 month old Brady is a cruising machine and can stand on his own for up to 20 seconds at a time. He can take a few steps between Craig and I when we are sitting on the floor but can't quite get the walking yet. He is an active little guy and if we let him roam the house he goes straight for the stairs and can make it to the top all on his own!

As far as eating Brady is a fruit baby. Everytime we try to get some veggies in there he gags and spits them up - sounds strangely familiar to Daddy :) He loves Yo-Baby yogurt, honey nut cherrios and the Gerber cheese and Veggie sticks.

We have finally mastered sleeping through the night - thank the lord!! At his 9 month appointment I asked the Dr for advice because he was still getting up every night and we were still feeding him a bottle. She said we really needed to start putting him to bed awake so he falls alseep on his own and it would help him sleep through the night. That week Craig tried it while I was in Houston for work and Brady cried for about 15 minutes and then slept all night!! For the next few weeks Brady went from consistently crying for 15 minutes each night to only a couple minutes these days - yay!!!

Brady is such a sweet energetic baby and lights up the room with his smile and his little wave :)

Pumpkin Patch 2011

We couldn't have asked for more perfect fall weather to get out and cut our pumpkins from the vine and enjoy all the fun festivities that a pumpkin patch brings :)

Chase was super excited about his pumpkin knife!

Brady's 1st pumpkin patch!!

Only took about 50 tries - but I got one!! Melt my heart :)

School Project

A few weeks ago Chase had his first "homework" assignment...to make a family poster. The only rules were that he had to have everyone's handprints but other than that it was creative :) Chase loved watching me trace everyone's hands and he colored them in beautifully. He was super excited to put pictures on it and to make sure his Rammies and Rockies were represented.

So this may have been just as much fun for me as it was him...haha...but he did an awesome job!

Fort Collins in the Fall!

Last weekend Craig and I took the boys up to Fort Collins for a football game! This was Brady's 1st CSU football game so it was a special day in our household :)

We headed up early and walked around campus, bought some goodies at the bookstore and walked through the beautiful oval to go grab some lunch at our favorite college spots. I completely forgot to grab my camera when we were walking around campus so we had to take pictures in the oval with my phone. Doesn't quite capture how beautiful this area is but at least we have the memory :)

After grabbing lunch we headed to the tailgate to meet up with some friends. CSU does an awesome job of providing a Kids Zone that has jump houses, slides, games, etc... so Chase and I made our way over to that area to play for a little bit. The only disappointment was that Cam the Ram is usually out and you can take pictures with him. Chase was looking forward to that but he wasn't out on that day :( Oh well - he still had a great time.

Stopping to watch the band go by...

Fun on the slide...

We did run into "Chipper" who was handing out free bowling certificates - lol :)

Craig with some of his frat brothers...

Brady enjoying his 1st game..

It was about 90 degrees so lemon gelato was a must :)

Craig & I LOVE sharing these memories with our boys. It was crazy to think as we walked around campus that 11 years ago I met the man of my dreams here and now here we are 2 kids later walking around those same spots....pretty amazing!

Taking Over...

A typical morning in our room...they are taking over :) We try to do a good job of not letting them in bed with us but you know what - until you have a 3 year old and a 9 month old - you just can't understand how utterly exhausting it is (amazing of course, but exhausting). Sometimes you do whatever you need to in order to survive - lol!
