Playdate Night!

Now that our baby-sitter, Amanda, and her husband, Ryan, & son, Ayden, live right down the street we finally got a chance to have them over last Friday night! The boys had a great time playing together for a few hours and we had a fun time eating pizza, drinking beer (water for Preggo Amanda) and getting to hang out!

Packing Up...

Well, it's true, we are moving to Colorado! We have debated for years about moving to CO but it has never felt like the right time. We finally made the decision back in June and now the day is upon us! I can't believe the last few months have gone by so fast. We are so excited for our new adventure but it is the most bittersweet time I have ever had in my life.

We are so sad to leave our family and friends that we have here is CA. Leaving Mom, Dad, Christine, Jim & baby Ben is so incredibly hard. We have such an amazing time with them and with Chase & Ben in our lives now it has been really special to watch them grow and start to interact with one another. Chase has so much fun at Grandma & Grandpa's house and will miss swimming in their pool, knocking blocks off Grandpa's head and getting spoiled by all the new toys Grandma always seems to have when we show up :0) That's the bitter part.

Now the sweet part - we are soo incredibly excited to be near Craig's family for the first time in 6 years and excited for Chase to get to hang out with all 6 of his cousins! It will be so much fun to be able to be a part of everyday life of all Craig's siblings, parents, nieces/nephews & all our amazing friends. We can't wait to buy a house and start a new chapter in life!

A new adventure is in store... we will miss CA but CO is just a short 2 hour flight away - right?!

Family Beach Photos

My Dad bought a photography package at a golf tournament a few years back and we finally got a chance to get some great family photos taken a few weekends ago! We went down to Laguna Beach in front of the Montage and had fun posing on the sand. It wasn't easy to get 2 little ones to sit still but they did a great job :0) We went last Saturday to see how they turned out and the photographer got some really good ones! We bought a few group pictures and I got a great pic of our little family of 3 - we get them in about a month - can't wait! Until then - here are some that Christine & I took on our cameras....

Happy Birthday to Me!

I had a great 28th birthday spending the night with my 2 favorite boys! Craig brought home beautiful pink roses and some wine to get the night started.

Then we got Chase in his car and walked down to our neighborhood Italian restaurant that we have ate at many times over the last few years. It was good food, good wine, good company & Chase was a sweet monkey in his highchair the whole time :0)

We walked back home and opened up a few gifts (Craig picked out some great clothes for me!) had cupcakes and played with our little man - what a great birthday!!

Birthday Celebration!

Jim & I shared celebrating our birthdays this past weekend at Mom & Dad's house! We had yummy funfetti cupcakes (obviously - is there any other birthday dessert?!), opened gifts and had another great summer weekend as a family!
